The request by Allianz for this important project was strongly focused on a major esthetic renovation of the Postmodernist existing building, seat of Allianz Italian Headquarters in Trieste, as well as a complete functional re-design of all the working and accessory spaces.
GLA’s approach has been oriented towards a radical transformation towards a transparent, contemporary building that, in contrast with its current conditions, would allow for a true integration with the city of Trieste.
The project proposed to transform the heavy ‘80s style’ interior layout into contemporary and efficient office spaces with restaurant, client areas, auditorium, art gallery.
