The 20.000 sqm Bufalini compound is one of the largest residential renovation projects in Florence. The buildings involved in the refurbishment were originally completed over a span of several centuries, hence presenting a vast differentiation of architectural and historical characteristics.
GLA’s intervention foresees a wide range of dwelling typologies for a total of about 140 units. The apartments considerably differ from each other in size and character, adapting to the historical distribution of the existing constructions. We achieved a balance between quantity and size of the units enhancing the class and the prestige of the top floors units featuring a stunning view of the Cathedral’s Dome.
